"What a breath of fresh air!"

It gives me great pleasure to compose this recommendation for Paul Dabbs Construction. Paul started working on my project mid-construction.

I started my project in 2020 and had troubles with my previous contractor with issues such as lagging timelines, unexpected cost overruns, sub-standard workmanship and lack of communication, which ended in my terminating my construction contract.

Paul started his work on my property at the lock-up stage in late 2021, contracted to complete the project. From the first day his open communication allowed me peace of mind knowing that all of the details were being managed effectively. What a breath of fresh air! Paul's experience in the construction industry, his good relationship with trades and City inspectors, and his artistic vision provided a building that, in the end, well surpassed my expectations. Paul's attention to detail and improvements to my initial design, meant I now have a living space that is functional, beautiful and timeless. Furthermore, Paul kept the worksite amazingly spotless and clean throughout the stages of completion.

I am thrilled with the results of the building that is now my home. For all of the reasons mentioned above, I am recommending Paul in the highest regard as the contractor of choice on Vancouver Island.
